FCC providers have access to our large Lending Closet, which allows them to check out a large variety of books, toys, art supplies and equipment regularly. We work with providers to provide developmentally appropriate materials and activities for the children in their care.
Providers are encouraged to rotate toys in and out of their program every few weeks. This means there is a constant supply of new toys and activities for the children, and prevents them getting bored playing with the same toys over and over. If a toy is particularly popular, we encourage providers to check out more than one, to reduce struggles over the toys between the children.
