GARDEN PLOTS:
The Rock Island Arsenal Garden is located north west of Building 351.  Each plot is approximately 20'x20' in size.   Water outlets are provided on site.  Users must provide their own garden hose and sprinkler.   Usage fees are $15,00 per plot per season.

Registration is as follows:   Active Duty will have the option of up to 3 plots per family.  Military Retirees and RIA Civilians will be limited to one plot per family.  Persons wishing additional plots can place their name on a waiting list in case some plots become available.

RV LOT STORAGE:
Outside vehicle storage is offered in a secured access controlled lot.  Patrons can store campers, boats, and POVs.   Patrons must show proof of ownership, proof of current state registration, proof of current insurance and maintain a drip pain under their motor vehicle.  Owners are liable for all liquids and greases that drip from their vehicle.  Owners who fail to pay their monthly fee by the 5th of each month or abandon their vehicle will have their vehicles towed by an off island contractor.   The owners of said vehicles will be liable for all outstanding fees, towing charges, and storage charges from the towing contractor.  User fee of $15.00 per month dor vehicles 15 feet or less in length,  $20 per month for vehicles 16 feet or more in length.

Primitive Campground.  Outdoor Recreation has two primitive tent campsites available on Rock Island Arsenal for preregistered users. Use is limited to Active Duty RIA Military and RIA Civilian Employees. No one under 18 years of age may use the campsites without a parent or guardian present at all times. User fee is $8 per nite for the first tent on each site. $4 is charged for an additional tent on each site. There is a limit of two tents per nite on each site. PATRONAGE ELIGIBILITY:
You are eligible to patronize our facility if you are one of the following: Active duty military and family members. Retired Military, National Guard, Reserves and family members; Arsenal Island civilian employees and family members; retired Arsenal Island civilians and family members; all others who are authorized in AR 215-2. Family members as established IAW AR 640-2…lawful spouse…children under the age of 21 and married…children over the age of 21 to the age of 23 enrolled full-time in an institute of higher learning, as long as they remain unmarried and dependent upon the sponsor for over 50% of their support.

The Army provides these to promote recreational travel and provide outdoor recreational opportunities to authorized users. We offer various levels of amenities, from gravel pads to paved pads with water, electric, sewage disposal, cable TV and telephone access. We also offer professional staffs or hosts to take care of your needs. Many RV Parks and Campgrounds offer programs to help you take advantage other installation MWR activities, and local area attractions.
