EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
SERVICES
No one gets through life without problems. Tragedy,
disappointments or losses and unresolved conflicts with others can affect a persons
quality of life, job performance, attendance and physical/emotional health. The EAP
services can assist military and civilian personnel and families in dealing with the
problems more effectively. Our Masters degree level professional staff will provide
free, confidential assistance.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Strict confidentiality is maintained on
client identity and any information that is shared within the assessment, referral, and
follow-up sessions. In order for any information, written or verbal, to be released to a
supervisor or others, the client must agree to the release of that information and sign a
written consent form.
Due to professional obligation there are three exceptions
to this policy: if an individual is threatening to harm themselves, harm others, or
suspected child abuse. Under these circumstances, information is released to appropriate
resources on a need to know basis. Military personnel are advised to seek additional
information on pertinent regulations governing release of information.
