The Army Volunteer Corps exists to serve the needs of the entire Army community. Volunteers contribute a wide range of services that supplement the capabilities of Army programs and services that enhance the efforts of paid staff. As volunteers work throughout the community, they become more active community members, enhance their skills, reinforce their work ethic, and achieve personal fulfillment.

The Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator (AVCC) coordinates and facilitates installation volunteer activities while serving as an advocate for volunteers. The AVCC serves as a link between individual volunteers and the agencies utilizing volunteer services, and as a liaison between the command and the volunteer agencies.

For more information about volunteering at Rock Island Arsenal contact the AVCC or visit www.myarmylifetoo.com.
